Since late 2017, WDN Action has flexed our political power with over $7.7 million in grants to nearly 80 organizations.
Our 2020 strategy centered around investing in states that could help take back the White House, win the Senate, and hold the House. We also invested in emerging c4 infrastructure, digital and cultural strategies, and resourcing groups fighting voter suppression and expanding the base. One thing is clear: our strategy of resourcing BIPOC women-led organizing is building power, winning elections, and changing the political possibilities in our country.
After a decade of organizing, AZ Poder, LUCHA, and MiAZ helped turn Arizona blue by expanding their base and registering new voters.

In Pennsylvania, API communities turned out in record numbers thanks to the work of groups like Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance.

New c4 infrastructure with groups like Poder NC, SONG Power, and Michigan Asian American Progressives is creating the conditions to build toward long-term, transformational change.
“I often share the story of the seed funding we received from WDN & the Reflective Democracy Campaign. I hope you and all the incredible WDN members know what a difference they are making because it's truly historic.”
